What is a convention without cosplay? Nothing, that's what it would be! I mean, how many of us just look forward to taking loads of pictures of people dressed up at their favorite characters and show off their incredible craftsmanship? I know I do every time I go to any convention! Personally, I marvel at the dedication and passion I see through these costumes. I also see pure laziness with anyone throwing on normal clothes and calling it cosplay. If you buy yours, well, I'll give you partial credit and still take a photo. The biggest unfortunate thing is that I don't really get to spend much time taking to these cosplayers about their craft. Normally it's just a quick snapshot and off to the next thing. Cons can be so busy that you can't stop and smell the flowers so to speak. It's a real shame too.
