I would like to give MangaGamer a round of applause today. Thanks to their newest version of their Website, their 18+ section has a voluptuous new form for their mascot that suits the adult environment very nicely.
In all seriousness, I love how their Website now has trailers embedded into the pages for each game. At the moment, my only issue is that most of the Website's selections aren't categorized properly. For example: When I go to the Horror section of the MangaGamer.com, I only see one version of Higurashi. However, if click on the 07th Expansion link in the companies section, both versions of Higurashi are there, which has to do with the Higurashi Kai bundle having the wrong genres tagged in. And for some odd reason, the Higurashi page has informaton related to Edelweiss. Then again, Higurashi might be the only title that has this issue, so it's most likely something very minor.
Evolving the Website and mascot isn't the only thing new today, because SSSS (Warning: NSFW), the spy themed visual novel game about preserving the justice of sex, is available now. And that's not all, since MangaGamer has revealed that, Tick Tack (NSFW, click at your own risk), the time traveling sequel to Shuffle!, will be available on April 26th. Also, in the next two weeks, MangaGamer is having a double points special for any new item that you buy -- gotta love those commemorations.
And there you have it, folks. MangaGamer still has a few kinks to fix in their new update, and their upcoming offer sounds like a great excuse to expand one's collection of visual novel games. While I wait for them to touch up on a few minor things, I will continue to browse through the rest of their new "content."
