Ever since Magical Lyrical Girl Nanoha was remade into a movie series, I was certain that they were going to remake the entire series into a movie trilogy. Lord and behold, it turns out that my magical girl senses were correct.
And what perfect way to reveal their plans by announcing it at the Lyrical Party V event that was meant to celebrate the home release of the second Nanoha movie. Hell, you know that there was a ginormous rejoice when you see a huge line of people in front of the event's entrance.
As someone who's first exposure to Nanoha was in the form of the movies, I am glad that I will get to see the story that features Nanoha and Fate as older characters. Since I've heard that the original Nanoha shows weren't animated that well, I feel that starting off with the movies isn't a bad way to experience the series first hand. Also, I can't help but to be spoiled by the movie quality high speed mecha-like battles that take up the film's action sequences.
