We haven't even seen the first episode of Valvrave yet, and Aniplex USA has already used their giant licensing robot to obtain the series. Something tells me that they are hoping for Valvrave to become next big series, due to it being an original show by Sunrise.
Not to insult the series this early in the game, but Valvrave has yet to do anything to impress me. Part of that reason comes from the fact that the show's trailers hasn't done anything to make the main robot stand out yet. Hopefully, the Gundam-like premise behind Valvrave's story will take some unique directions to distinguish itself from the rest of the bunch. With Katsura Hoshino (Creator of the D. Gray-man manga) doing the original character designs for the series, Valvrave might have some hope left in it after all.
While Crunchyroll already has the simulcasting rights to the series, we can assume that Aniplex has obtained the license to show Valvrave in other locations, since they didn't specify the nature of their license. Until we hear more from them, make sure to prepare yourself Aniplex's all out attack.
