There was never any doubt in my mind that Atlus would bring Shin Megami Tensei IV to North America sometime this year. While the Persona series has seemingly eclipsed it in terms of overall popularity, the Shin Megami Tensei games are excellent and I know there are quite a few fans looking forward to the fourth entry.
Fortunately, they won't have to wait very long for it: Shin Megami Tensei IV for the 3DS releases in North America this summer.
Ten years have passed since Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne hit store shelves, so it's no exaggeration to say that SMT IV has been a long time coming. We've written about the game quite a bit, so I'll let Atlus' press release do the talking here. Make sure you check out the gallery of images and sound off if you're as excited for this as I am.
