Sakura-Con is still going on as we speak, and Josh "Totsu" Totman is scouring the entire con like a beast! As he storms through the catacombs of Seattle's anime convention, JT has discovered Yen Press's latest announcements.
Just to get this one out of the way, Yen has plans to bring over No matter how I look at it, it's you Guy's fault I'm not popular. Don't let the long title fool you, because this is actually a manga -- don't worry, I was fooled too. From the looks of it, the I'm not popular manga covers the story of a recluse lonely girl that's attempting to become the most popular student in her high school.
If you have read and loved Elliot's review of the Wolf Children Ame and Yuki movie, then you might like the idea of Yen Press giving you the chance to read Wolf Children on the go. And putting an end to the darkness the resides in one's heart, Yen will be reviving the Kingdom Hearts manga from the depths of hell that was caused by Tokyopop's demise.
Before I forget this one, there's one last series that was announced by Yen Press. To those that stuck with Inu x Boku Secret Service during the 2012 anime winter season, the original manga will be accepting its mission to be printed in North America.
I will have to say that Yen Press has picked a great timing to reveal their goods, since it will pull in the folks who are already looking forward to the Wolf Children movie and/or the Kingdom Hearts 1.5 HD Collection in North America. Depending on how things turn out, Yen Press will be raking in some huge dough later on.
Now that we are done with this whole Yen Press announcement gig, are you guys looking forward to any of these upcoming releases?
