Experience the majestic beauty of the sardine tornado

It's been a while since I have stepped foot inside of an aquarium, and the Nagoyako Aquarium's sardine tornado is making me want to visit one right now. Speaking of which, there was a time when the sardines started to get lazy from the lack of danger in their Kuroshio Tank (Named after the currents of the same name).

In many attempts to get the sardines going again, they tried inflicting fear into them by adding a hammerhead shark to the tank. However, the water's temperature was too much for the deadly sea predator to handle. Long story short, they decided add 15 Pacific blue fin tunas to the tank after many failed attempts, and the tunas were able to give the sardines the right amount of motivation to get them going again.

Overall, it's good to see that they got their show is still there, because the entire thing is one hell of a spectacle. If you are ever in the Aichi Prefecture of Nagoya, you might want to check out the sardine tornado at the Nagoyako Aquarium. And to those who aren't able to go, you can witness the aquatic performance in the aquarium below.
