Doraemon is trying to help Tokyo host the Olympics

Japan's most famous, earless, robotic cat is at it again, and now he's on a mission for Tokyo. The Japanese Olympic Committee has appointed the famous Fujiko F. Fujio creation as the ambassador for Tokyo's bid of the 2020 Summer Olympic Games. I can't think of a more beloved anime character, who's got as much international appeal as Doraemon, and think the dora-yaki eating mecha is an excellent choice.

The summer olympics have't been in Japan since 1964, however fas may fondly remember the 1998 Winter Olympics that took place in Nagano. The competition for hosting the games is a twisted, expensive, and grueling process, but if anyone is up to the challenge I'm sure it's Doraemon! Now maybe if they can get Jean Reno involved somehow...
