Excuse me as I jump out of a nearby window. Okay, I have returned unharmed, so let's talk about the next piece that's becoming one with the world of Garo.
Move over, Makai Knights, because Makai Priests and Priestesses are the new thing in town. Taking place during the events of Garo: Dragon of the Blue Cry, Garo Gaiden: Whistle of the Phantom Peach (the translation of Togen no Fue) is going to be a movie about Jabi and Reka, as face their own major conflicts during a whistle guarding mission. If the trailer is leading to what I think they are doing, this will be a film that will only focus on the Makai Priestesses, which is something that I've been waiting for quite some time.
The concept behind the Makai Priests/Priestesses's brush techniques has always been something that has intrigued me from the moment that I laid eyes upon Jabi. And having an entire film that might be Makai Knight free could be that one opportunity to see their style fully shine.
Garo Gaiden: Whistle of the Phantom Peach will arrive in Japan on July 2013, which will most likely be a home release. But hey, I could be wrong, so let's be on the look out for more future updates on the matter.
